Madonna's Celebration featuring Akon

We played the original Madonna version back when it was released last summer and the listeners seemed to respond well. The song was never really picked up by alot of bigger markets so it had a relatively short shelve life around here. We've been playing the re-worked version and again it has gotten alot of positive responses amongst listeners once again. Personally I prefer the original better, but it seems the reworked version has given the song new life. Does anyone think that the addition of Akon made this song better?

Hmmm, I don't really think Akon made the song better, just more relevant to younger listeners. We too played the original version (and have kept it as a recurrent) but aren't on the new one -- frankly there's a bit too much Akon floating around the airwaves IMO.

More than Akon I think that David Guetta did the job. We are playing the re-worked version getting a lot of response.
