Is REGIONAL REPS CORPORATION a necessary evil?
This company seems to prey on small unrated markets but the bottom line is they charge 15% above the standard 15% agency fee. Who has experience dealing with these people are are they seriously needed or not in your opinion? I mean can a small mom and pop operation honestly afford to give up 300 bucks off a thousand dollar buy to what amounts to essentially a bill collector service?

We accept orders from them. Sometimes they have the double commish's for a client, sometimes not.
I find during political windows they are nice to have on the roster.
The mom and pop stations aren't getting any of that $1,000 gross buy if they don't take the order. Sometimes you take the good with the bad even if the payout isn't huge.
I will say that sometimes the double commish stuff gets confusing and/or their traffic orders/instructions aren't always accurate or clear.
