URL (Domain Name) Lists

Post by rogerwimmer » Thu Sep 02, 2010 3:24 am

Doc: Is there a free website that lists recently registered domains (i.e., allaccess.com)? - Anonymous

Anon: There are about 200 million Internet domain names now registered, and the last report I saw is that about 10 million new domain names are registered every quarter. Not all of these domain names are active, but it's clear that keeping track of new registrations is not an easy task.

However, there are a few websites that may help you find the information you need:

The most widely used is Whois.net. This won't list new registrations, but you can search for specific domain names.

A few other domain name websites are included in this search.

Finally, you may sometimes find new domain registrations listed in Domain Name News.
